The kidcats and I are a little more comfortable, today, thanks to those flea traps [View all]
Some of the best money I've ever spent. The trap is made of a very sturdy plastic with a light bulb and 'sticky discs' and came with extras of both.
I can't say I was shocked by what I found, this morning, but then I've been doing a lot of eradicating on my own.
Outside is better, too. I just fed the ferals and found just a couple fleas on my jeans, which were easily removed. I'm heading out to buy a 10lb bag of baking soda, 2 lbs of salt and another bag (or two) of lawn treatment. We are in the pathway of tropical storm Beryl so a lot of the outdoor work will wait until Thursday, when the lawn conditions will be ideal for treatment.
Today and tomorrow I'll be doing more indoor deep cleaning, roll up all of the rugs and blow diatomaceous earth beneath the furniture and along all of the baseboards. The furniture will get treated, again, too.
The good news is my kidcats have finally forgiven me for applying that topical on them. They were SERIOUSLY offended. Well, except for Gryff. He took advantage of me being shunned by the others to get extra attention.
My brother is heading home, today, from northern California so I will be getting more help. Of course I'm in major worry/anxiety mode about his trip because the weather is scorching hot for the first part of his journey. His kidcats, Dude and Banksy, are going to be SO HAPPY to see their dad, again.
