he was bullied by his "science" teacher when he refused to raise his hand when she asked the class to raise their hand if they are christian. Of course, he was the only one who didn't raise his hand. She began hounding him about his beliefs. She even mocked him when he said he believes in evolution.

I wrote to the principal regarding the matter and she took care of the situation to my satisfaction.

Situations like these absolutely piss me off. These fucking "teachers" feel like they can treat kids like shit because they're in a position of "authority". But this is the type of shit we deal with in Texas.

One last point I'll make: if your personal beliefs get in the way of you being a mature human being and doing your actual job of being a public school teacher, don't be a public school teacher. Go be a teacher in one of these super 'merica jesus bullshit private schools where you are free to teach that jesus built america with his magic.
