I’m not posting this to mock Latinos, but I’ve been shocked, then depressed by the low turnouts Texas Latinos showed at Texas state and federal elections. Texas isn’t North Dacota or West Virginia: Latinos are not only a plurality of Texans, but there are more than enough of them to go to polls and put a screeching halt to the Texas GOP’s love affairs with race-baiting and Xenophobia.
