5. I knew that Cathy was a fundy long before this controversy began.

I still ate at his restaurants on occasion because I believe that a man's personal beliefs are his own and I shouldn't shun him because I don't agree with his religion. However, when Cathy decided to jump in the middle of the fray and chime in with the bigots against marriage equality, I saw that Cathy apparently didn't care if he offended me and therefore didn't want my money. So if the owners of those other companies want to be fundies, that's their problem, but as long as they keep their mouths shut and aren't overtly offensive, I don't consider their personal beliefs to be an issue.
