4. I can add my name to the chorus

Lived in Tennessee for over 20 years. Wouldn't go back if you put a gun to my head. Too hot, too conservative and too religious. I felt like a stranger in a strange land, to coin a phrase.

Yes, the surroundings are beautiful but the politics have made things ugly and extreme.

Did I mention I was sued after selling my house in TN? Well, I was to the tune of $200,000. Fortunately, the case was dismissed last week.

Needless to say, I have no pangs of regret having moved back north, close to family and friends (and my beautiful baby grand daughter). It was a haul, physically and financially draining.

But I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
