18. That's wonderful news, retirement is (can be) the greatest time of your life

The important thing is, don't define your life by the work you used to do. There's so much more to life, as you will soon learn. Spend time getting to know your family and friends, neighbors, community where you live, etc. Start a new hobby, take time to read good books, visit the library, do some volunteer work. I have been retired 9 years already and I'm having a blast.
