There are lawyers that specialize in this kind of stuff (nursing home screwups). There's one in Chicago who advertises on TV. All. The. Damned. Time. Guys like him are sharks, and a story like this is chum to them. And I say more power to them, because this was really heinous.

That nursing home better have a fuckton of liability insurance!
