(126,536 posts)7. Bernie is stuck in the '60s, when there weren't any women or minority candidates in the major parties,
and his rhetoric still sounds exactly like it has for the last 50 years. And he's always been critical of other candidates who don't do things exactly his way; he was a shit to Hillary, too. It's especially unfair of him to bust on Kamala, who did what she could with the short time she had, and she did it brilliantly. Not to mention that a campaign to be mayor can't easily be compared to be a campaign to be president. You can do a lot of door-knocking and other direct outreach when you only have a city to campaign in, not a whole country. As an old person myself, I hate to say it, but in a lot of ways Bernie is as much of a fossil as the Democrats he criticizes.
