Forgive me if this is in bad taste, [View all]

but my novel
I Inherited a Mixed Animal from Uncle Living in Woods
is currently on sale for .99 (ebook)
at Amazon, B&N, etc
but not BookShop for some reason unfortunately.
Softcover available also.

If you don't know, the book was born right here at DU in the Lounge over 20 years ago, and was published June 10 this year.

Amazon has "Read Sample" so you can get a taste first, and Barnes&Noble has a little RED ARROW on the ebook to read a few (short) chapters.

Here's how it starts:

Our Uncle Leonard was a hermit who lived in the woods his entire
life. Unc had a sack of money stashed away, and when he went
to meet his Maker he left every penny to my little sister Shane.
Meanwhile, he left me, a full grown man, a rusty bicycle and a
busted set of drums. I don’t mean he left me a full grown man, I
mean I am a full grown man. Therefore, why would he go and leave
me a load of childish junk instead of cold hard adult cash?

Oh, he also left me some kind of a mixed animal, which turned
out to be even more questionable than the junk.
---------
And here's how it ends:

I'm not gonna tell you that!

But you will weep and laugh and roll in the hay and snow and crawl to your neighbors to tell them to get a copy before they're never sold out!

Thanks!
