This is part of the Myron Bolitar series. The story center on his closest friend, WIndsor (Win) Horne Lockwood III who inherited a billion dollars and made many more billions many more through his investment firm. Myron and Win were college roommates at Duke when Myron was a star basketball player and was signed by the Celtics but blew out his knee in an exhibition game ending his career. Myron went on to get a law degree and became a sports agent. People, especially the bad guys, mistake Myron and WIn as being weak or easy targets. Both of the are well trained in martial arts and have no hesitation in injuring or killing someone in a fight.

Win's cousin's six year old son and his friend who were kidnapped 10 years ago and they haven't been seen since. Win received an anonymous email saying the boys were in London. Win makes the trip to London and thinks he's found his cousin's son but he wants both boys returned so he calls Myron for help. Their search takes them through the underbelly of London's human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children.
