I finished Baudelaire's Revenge by Bob Van Laerhoven. This is a dans macabre in which the only sane character is murdered in best Edgar Allen Poe tradition. The book reminded me of a John Fowles novel in that reality keeps shifting so that it's never quite what we think it is. There are secrets and lies and madness. It kept me off balance 'til the end. There's some gore and explicit sexuality, which are interlocking threads.
