I know, you can’t fire the owner, but at some point, owners cash out. Look at the transformations that happened in New England, Oakland BEFORE Fisher (the Haas Family spent money and won World Series rings), Golden State, with Joe Lacob, and many others.

I fully expect A’s ownership to float a bill requiring casinos to shut down during baseball games.

If you think I’m joking, compare free drinks at the casinos with $$$ beer at a baseball game consisting of AAA players not ready for salary arbitration.
