Also, half that tour is barely good enough for Korn Ferry, so who are the top guys beating?
I'm not sure the no-cut aspect has an effect, especially to the guys worried about their world ranking. Those guys miss very few cuts anyway.
But having to only sustain 3 days of solid play is easier, for sure.
Now compound that with the competition being substantially lesser and the rankings points have to be adjusted.
For Tour events, designated tournaments earn more points. Why? Because all the top flight players show up.
When there are 45 guys that can win, sustained strong play for 4 rounds is much tougher than 3 rounds where only 5 guys have a reasonable chance of winning.
Finally, yes I find their whining annoying.
