Don't be surprised if they bring out the relocation threats.

If there is one area where Congress should get involved with sports is to prevent pro sports leagues from constantly replacing good enough stadiums & arenas and get sweetheart deals to build new ones from taxpayers. They could easily fund their own stadiums but they don't have to because of the leverage the leagues have--even the historic franchises would relocate if they didn't get a new stadium/arena deal to their liking.

In other contexts it would likely be an antitrust violation but I'm rusty on my economics of sports. I highly recommend the website https://www.fieldofschemes.com/ for news and updates on stadium deals from the perspective of a sports economist.
