10. I got to drive a REAL 427 once...

... what a beast of a car! The transmission hump was so large that the pedals were offset to the left, and the Ford shift stick was reversed and pointed forward because the linkage was so far back on the transmission. One cost $7,500 in 1967, so I bought an MGB-GT for $2,600 instead.
Oh well...
