2. Goal Zero has a number of different panels that will be compatible

Plus I imagine it would also work with various third party panels, both rigid and roll-up. The max is 250 lumen.. It's predecessor lantern had a non-variable max of 50 lumen. So there is a huge improvement in output and features with the 250. I couldn't find the charging time but, if I recall correctly, the old version took about 4-6 hours to reach an 80% charge but don't hold me to that.

This new one has a self-contained and zen-like appeal to me. It's something I would take on one of my regular excursions and (except for a small emergency solar flashlight) it would be the only main light I would use.
