6. The NRA had little to do with Colorado

Bloomberg and Eli Broad each wrote a personal check greater than what the NRA gave. The recall support was grassroots within Colorado because three politicians publicly insulted their constituents. Had they been Republicans, they would have gotten the same treatment. They were in Denver to represent the interest of their constituents, not get campaign funds from Bloomberg who outspent the recall supporters 7-1.
Morse told Rachal Maddow that he ignored the constituents opinions and encouraged others to do the same. Giron talked down to constituents and refused to have a public meeting. The only unfortunate thing is that they were not replaced with better Democrats.


They supported Strickland over Kasich
