which doesn't help. We rented a car and drove all over France, Italy and Switzerland and it was really easy. Think they are all stick shift though.

How exciting for you. Planning is part of the fun, huh. Iceland sounds great - oddly, not too long ago - perhaps it was a promotion - but you could get a first class ticket on Icelandic Air for $1000 - think it stopped there and then went on to Paris.
