Their organizational hierarchy hides their heinous acts by moving them to new locations when they are discovered and by pretending it never happened. Those men also seek out troubled youths and exploit religion to have their way with them.
In both situations, the young people are forever damaged, but the perpetrators of the sexual abuse escape punishment for long, long periods of time, due to their prominence and with the help of others.
