the so-called pastor who said "The curses and spells used in the books are actual curses and spells; which when read by a human being risk conjuring evil spirits into the presence of the person reading the text," or the imbeciles that do what he commands.

Seems like if those were actual curses and spells, there would be millions of instances of spirits being accidentally conjured up by now.
