39. As one of the hosts here, a few things...

First, you do not know what happened. Ken Dayenu "didn't give up" because of this group, as you implied. He said he was going to quit, then reconsidered after sending a removal request to the owner and administrator of the site, EarlG. He then said he rescinded his request. Irrelevant to that, the owner and administrator of the site, EarlG, banned him from DU; not the hosts of the Jewish group (we have no such power) and not MIRT (who has such power, but is very limited). So, if you have a problem with his banning, then it is EarlG where you can take your grievances. We had no control nor input in regard to the decision to ban him.

Second, this is NOT your first post in this group. You posted here twice in March 2023. Prior to the suspension of the "no I/P discussion in the main forums", I/P discussions were locked here too. As it became more obvious the rule was not going to be enforced anytime soon, the hosts for this group discussed whether we would continue to allow discussions of I/P here or not. We decided we would allow such discussions until the rule in the Main Forums were enforced once again, then we, too, would go back to our "no I/P discussions" here.

Third, as I have stated, you have had the opportunity to post in this group for several years. YOU chose to post twice, one about Israel and another about a law concerning anti-Semitism being passed on Purim. However, this is the JEWISH GROUP, and as such, you had ample opportunity to chime in on a variety of topics relevant to the JEWISH community. You did not. Your choice.

Fourth, like the first post and the 6th post, you chose NOT to discuss the topic of the OP, instead casting dispersions on this group and its members.

Fifth, I am very familiar with your posts and almost all of them are in regard to Israel. Makes sense. But I am also familiar how often you disparage the American Jewish community, much like you did in the post to which I am responding.

Therefore, I am blocking you from the JEWISH GROUP not because of your fallacious claims of "Im not Jewish enough for them , not Zionist enough for them ......and to Left wing for them ." but because of your negative remarks ABOUT the group and its members. You "participated" twice in this group. You chose that, NOT us.
