This week in stargazing brings your chance to see the smallest full moon of 2024.

Reaching its peak at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, the February full moon is actually a “micromoon” — the term for when the moon is full while also being at or nearly at its farthest point from Earth, according to the astronomy site EarthSky.
