IMO. I don't think it is anti-social to enjoy a holiday at home alone on occasion.

Some years I've just wanted to use the day to reflect and relax, sans all the commotion. This is one and I will happily greet those with whom I come into contact (dog park or on my 5 mile walk this morning), but also be glad to skip the diet-destroying mega-feast and the stress of travel. I'll call family and friends today or tomorrow.

The only thing that bugs me is those who "feel sorry for me" and to whom I feel I have to imply I'm spending the day with others.

Happy Thanksgiving to all--whether with big crowds of friends/family or enjoying on your own!
