I always volunteered to work Thanksgiving so that my co-workers that wanted to do the family events could get the day off. It also gave me an excuse to get out of attending the big production myself. I would just make a turkey for my family on the following weekend. Nice.

Now my husband and I just go and have dinner with a small group of friends that we only get to see today. Local, pot luck and get to catch up with people we miss. Nice!

Everyone have a good day however you choose to spend it!
