You can make a one time payment of any amount that you choose.

I set mine up to renew automatically each year by PayPal. I recently got a DU Mail message from the administrators that notified me that my account was due for renewal in 10 days. A few days later I got an automated PayPal notification that my membership has been renewed. Easy peasy!
