The point of the treaty is to get countries to stop selling guns to terrorists and jackhole dictators. The NRA doesn't like it because it says "U.N." and most of them think it has something to do with guys in blue helmets barging in and taking their guns (fun fact: it doesn't).

Still, those countries join us on the lists that allows capital punishment and don't use the metric system.
