The main thrust among pro-TPP Dems is pretty much this: "Well OKAY, we'll admit it'll be bad for for working class livelyhoods, but we'll make up for it by trying to expand the safety net....and don't forget all social issue gains we've won".

It's like trying to cut off one end of a blanket and then sewing on to the other end.

Looks good on paper to technocrats but ignores externalities and disruptions to those actually affected.

They live in a different world............
