I am REALLY telling you that I don't give a flying rat's ass about your opinion - but I will defend your right to have one, and to publish it pretty much anywhere - as long as it isn't directly hurting anyone - without some intolerant bigot interfering, a letting people make up their own mind.

Assuming that's what you mean by "defending", then yes.
