4. When I worked in Saudi it was cool to drink

Westerners at the big housing complex made booze in the bathtub and drank more. It definitely was cool because it was illegal. Contrary to what you might think the Saudis, at least in 1981, tolerated westerners as long as we kept it in our little complex of 500 homes or so. We were a sealed off little world so they let us be. Because we helped make them rich beyond comprehension.
