It's just that some hard-right wingers are like that. Matt Gaetz is another example. He teamed up with AOC to sponsor a bill banning holding stock for anyone in Congress. He also refused to take money from big corporations. Then there's Rand Paul. He was against the Patriot Act and doesn't want to increase the deficit. His father even more so.
