peaceful family and friendship ties. We are too tolerant and nice.

My sister tries to maintain normal relations with our MAGA side of the family. I tell her this isn't about politics.

I am heartbroken, disgusted, and angry. I can't see ever going back to just letting it slide for Thanksgiving's sake. You know what I mean?

I can't help loving my family and friends. But I can avoid them.
