Could this have anything to do with the fact that the governor of Maine stood up to him right when he first got elected? I'm sure it gives him great happiness to get back at the governor AND punish the people who didn't vote for him at the same time. He doesn't care about the fact that Republicans who voted for him live there too. Then again, he doesn't care about anyone but himself.
