commercial airline. Air travel truly is safer than ever.

Every time there is some major incident, for the next couple of weeks, all of the minor stuff (plane loses a wheel on landing, doesn't quite stop quickly enough at the gate and nudges the gateway, flight attendant spills a drink cart) gets reported. So people thinking flying really is dangerous, when it's not.

I was an airline ticket agent for ten years, so I know this stuff.
