1. Trump is reversing the outcome of WWII

The USA spent years in the Cold War fighting for democracy in eastern Europe, because democracy means freedom for citizens and capitalism and bank lending and profits for corporations. The USSR had different ideas. Elections in Poland were a sham, puppet governments were installed in eastern European countries, and Germany was divided for decades. Industries were state-owned and often run by Soviet elites. After the collapse of the USSR, state industries were sold to Russian Oligarchs. The State bureaucrats that lived in dachaus now owned capitalist enterprises.

Now we're blending State with private industry, stripping citizens of civil rights, and granting tax breaks to billionaires so they can own our capitalist enterprises. I doubt Trump has much idea of what went before or what's going on.
