KETV investigates a new practice by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents going door-to-door to do welfare checks on undocumented, unaccompanied children.

The Department of Homeland Security said it’s part of a nationwide effort to better monitor children who've come into the United States alone — and we know it's now happened in Omaha.

DHS says it is "leading efforts to conduct welfare checks on these children to ensure that they are safe and not being exploited, abused, and sex trafficked."

My words.
They are going there knowing there are undocumented children to do welfare checks and no one has been taken away it seems.
