I hadn't heard that before. Now I'm more convinced than ever that the GQP's plan is to privatize our weather data gathering, forecasting, extreme weather warnings, etc. etc.

Instead of tuning my weather radio to the nearest NOAA broadcast I'll be paying a subscription fee to get severe weather warnings.
