The programs are administered by local nonprofit organizations that must follow federal childcare rules.

The programs have demonstrated great results for educational attainment and better social-emotional development that lasts a lifetime. Republicans seem to assume that most poor people are minorities, and this is just another way for Trump and Republicans to show their hatred of minorities and poor people. If the programs served only white male children, they would double the funding!
