Also...same feeling when Johnny Cash version of Personal Jesus comes on the telly. Cannot get away fast enough. Or the Jesus gets us ads. A case of the willies..
maybe from the childhood memories of feeling manipulated by what we told to believe in Sunday School. Fortunately my parents liberated us. Told we didn't have to go to church or Sunday School if we chose not to.
