7. I burned out on television news and opinion shortly after 9/11.

My wife has never been interested in television news and opinion.

We read all our news, mostly via paper and electronic subscriptions.

I can skip past the headlines I can't do anything about. I'm not forced to suffer through the news that would burn me out.

Best of all I rarely here Trump's voice, which makes my skin crawl.
