37. I've been in the political trenches since the Kennedys

Over the years, after a terrible loss, there always seemed a way to lick our wounds and eventually fight back.
What has been going on with Trump has been more difficult to handle because it seems so hard to fight back in a meaningful way.
It is very frustrating - more than I can express. The awful things happening are very, very hard to take. I can't stand suffering - never could. Many of the things we fought for are at risk or in progress of being taken away.

There has been one thing that has given me some significant relief every day. It keeps me informed. It soothes some my wounds. It eases some my worries. Provide some humor. I see members taking care of each other. It assures me I am not alone. etc.
