1. Memorial day weekend just passed -- they jacked up gas prices for the holiday then lower after

Gas prices are stagnant at least here in Iowa.

But the price of food is up -- our staples are higher.

Pork and chicken both higher than past years. Milk is substantially higher than it was 6-9 months ago.

NOt a big egg user, but cereal is up.

The price per ounce of a lot things are higher -- they are engaging in shrinkflation to hide some of it. But food is definitely more expensive.
