Hakeem laying it out there just now! [View all]

He posted on bluesky a few seconds ago:

"Donald Trump incited a violent mob to attack the Capitol. Hundreds of dangerous felons who brutally beat police officers with impunity were then pardoned by the President on his first day in office. Don't ever lecture America about law and order."

I'm starting to think that the problem is not messaging per se. It's the lack of cohesion and unity. There is nothing wrong with Leader Jeffrie's message above. But the failure of ALL Dems on their social media accounts and when they are interviewed on TV not to pick it up verbatim and repeat it as one voice is a weakness. I realize that everyone has their own "spin" and ideas about the situation, but in this media environment the Dems need ONE message coming from all voices with a platform.

And since Jeffries is the leader, I say let him lead on the messaging. His statement above is good but needs to be heard everywhere.
