11. I did fall flat on my face today.

It happens often enough that I haven't answered "no" to the medical visit question, "Have you fallen in the last X months?" in longer than I can remember. I used to reset the clock every time I fell - but the number of months they ask about isn't consistent any more (it now ranges from 2 to 12). But even if it is only 2 months, chances are near 100% that I've fallen in that window.

I'm not going to ridicule anyone for tripping - or for the consequences of any other physical disability
