Convervatives think they own the US flag, as far as messaging goes.

Mexican flags protesting "against" the USA looks like some sort of Mexico vs USA Red Dawn fantasy wish come true rather than "We're your neighbors, please listen to and help us".

It's stupid if you want help, and if it's actually genuine then it's disturbing.

The better message is sent with the American flag.
