2. My dad had a 1938 Winchester Model 67 when he was a kid.

Kind of the same deal. Lightweight single shot, but a bolt action. It could shoot .22 short or long.

I think he got it as a present when he was 9 or 10. Handy if you inadvertently come across a cottonmouth in a flooded rice field.
