In reply to the discussion: Diane Keaton RIP [View all]Teacher of the Year
(211 posts)23. My mom, at 70 something, bungie jumped off a Chinese Bridge and the next year did the Sidney Bridge Climb...
The next year was zip lining in the Amazon.
She tried to hide the pictures from me but I found them. She was also the person in Thailand who volunteered to lay on the ground with an elephant holding his foot over her head. That picture almost gave me a heart attack.
Every trip she went on I half-expected her not to return and she didn't tell me about ANY of these things. When I would find the pictures later on (YOU BUNGIE JUMPED OFF THAT RUSTY OLD BRIDGE??!!!!!) she would always say, "I didn't say anything because I know you would worry."
God only knows what else she did I never found out about.

I have some time to go to reach that age, but I do feel "very old," but in a good way.

She was a fine actress. My favorite was the drama "Reds" with Warren Beatty.
