you are referencing a solid left hook to the liver. And that is far more painful than getting the wind knocked out of you. I've had both experiences -- got the wind bashed out of me in a fight I knocked the opponent out in, in the next round. I didn't go down, nor did I enjoy the time until the round ended. My late brother landed a hook to my liver in sparring. I could not have gotten up. So I agree fully with you!
