My brother-in-law was in the USAF a couple of years later. He was stationed in Thailand for a little over a year. (I have a cousin who was, but he is a pathological liar, and none of us believe any of his heroic tales!)

It is too bad that the deposed shah was allowed in this country for medical treatment. And it is a shame that our country installed him.
