rather unlikely that any finding of common ground will hinge on what a DUer posts. Even on the tiny, itty-bitty chance a maga who recognizes they have been betrayed by the felon-in-chief happen to read this, it likely won't hurt their feelings.

Any building of bridges that have positive potential will come from personal relationships between relatives, neighbors, friends, and/or co-workers, at the grass roots' level. That is something that no "leader" can deliver at this time -- or likely ever. It is up to us as human beings.

However, I think that even if some or all forum members started trying to build bridges, that it is not only okay, but even good to keep in mind that the DU community has long had the benefit of having harsh, cruel statements and rude, vicious jokes aimed at the opposition. It's good to blow off steam every now in then.
