2. I remember...

Yesterday

I remember very well.

As dark and horrific as that all way...look at all the ways they curated the message. There was an all out affront to give it a veneer of legitimacy through the manipulations. There was the run-up, the sales job, we knew when it was to begin. They had the horror of 9-11 to gin up enlistments.

I thought the darkest day in my life time came when congress voted to authorize the invasion.

This is different, IMO. There was no effort to sell it. They made no case (true or false). There seems to be little concern about justifying it in any way. There is no attempt to unify. No attempt to sell (not a genuine anyway).

I'm still way confused about Venezuela and what we are doing there. I can't believe we continue to blow up boats with a collective ho-hum.

I can't understand why there isn't screams for impeachment from every member of congress. Why people aren't streaming into the streets with the blessing and encouragement of the businesses. So much I don't understand.
